Snowbell of Rodopi 

The snowbell of Rodopi (lat. Soldanella rhodopaea) is a rare wildflower, that is endemic to Greece and Bulgaria. It grows in woods, damp pastures, and rocky landscapes at an altitude of 1,100-1,900 meters above sea level. In Thrace, it occurs in the Virgin Forest of Frakto.

It blooms from April to July. The snowball of Rhodope is included in the Red Book for rare and threatened plants in Greece, under the category "almost threatened".
