In memory of the Jewish martyrs of Xanthi

In memory of the 526 Jews of Xanthi who were gathered in the early hours of March 4, 1943 by the Bulgarian police and then exterminated in the Nazi camps, the memorial was erected.

Two railway tracks and 526 white pebbles under the seven-light lamp make up the Holocaust memorial in Xanthi.
