The byzantine castle of Nymfaia
The Byzantine castle outside the settlement of Nymfea was built on a hill offering control of the surrounding area. Today only part of the wall is preserved, while it is estimated that its perimeter was 60 meters long. In its original form there must have been four cylindrical towers at its corners.
The castle is located between the settlements Symvola and Pandrosos.
