Komotini at the passage from the 19th to the 20th century
The Skouteris House hosts the Thracian Ethnological and Cultural Museum of Komotini and Thrace after the donation of the owner, Vasiliki Skouteris-Dintsoglou, to the Municipality of Komotini. Built at the end of the 19th century, the neoclassical building of Kouloglou Street combines local architectural elements of Thrace with European elements of decoration in its interior, such as the frescoes.
The museum exhibits urban furniture, household objects, photographs and clothing that take the visitor on a journey to other eras.
