Modern works of art at the Byzantine castle
The Nalbantis Municipal Gallery has been operating since 2000 in the Vafiadis house. The urban house built during the interwar period is located in the city's castle.
It hosts works by the painter Dimitrios Nalbantis, born in Didymoteicho. The world-famous painter donated his works to the gallery and undertook the interior and exterior decoration.
