Flomaria: the traditional pasta from Samothrace
Flomaria (or floumaria) - also known as makarones - is a type of traditional pasta from the island of Samothrace, which is typically made with flour, milk, and eggs. Once the dough has been rolled to the desired thickness, it is then cut into stripes. The pasta is left aside for 3-4 hours until dry. Rooster with flomaria is a traditional specialty in Samothrace.
