  • thumb_img
  • thumb_img

In kylix’s interior a young warrior who moves rapidly to the left is depicted. He wears chiton and the Thracian cloak, zeira (a woolen coat) richly decorated. He is equipped with an Attic helmet. He holds a spear in his left hand and a pelte (a crescent-shaped wicker shield) in his right.

It is uncertain  whether a Thracian or an Athenian warrior wearing the Thracian cloak is depicted, following the "fashion" of the time.
