Keskul: the creamy and velvety pudding

Keskul is a type of almond pudding with its origins traced in Constantinople. We also find it in the cuisine of Rodopi. It is an almond cream made from butter and milk and flavored with almonds. It is typically served in a bowl sprinkled with cinnamon and pistachio.
