A ruined Byzantine fortress at Komnina
To the Southwest of the settlement of Komnena, in Exochi, there are the ruins of a Byzantine fortress with preserved dimensions of about 30m. x 60m. Built at an altitude of 220m., offered good control of the Nestos river valley.
