An unknown ancient settlement
800m north of the settlement of Komnina and 500m. south of the Macedonian Tomb of Komnena or Stavroupolis, at the site of Mytikas, surface findings have been discovered dating from the 11th century BC until the Byzantine years. A settlement dating to the Hellenistic and Roman years was developed in this place. The traces of the settlement extend in an area of 15 acres, approximately (200 x 300 m.). This settlement may be related to the Macedonian tomb of Stavroupolis.
