Thracian lykourinos 

A diamond from the treasury of Thracian flavors!

Lykourinos, the salted smoked mullet, is a Thracian delicacy. With origins from Ainos in Eastern Thrace, it is an exquisite delicacy of Vistonis Lagoon.

Serving tips: lykourinos is served in finely chopped slices, ideally sprinkled with virgin olive oil, and - optionally - a few drops of lemon juice. These are garnished with freshly chopped onion mixed with dill and accompanied by slices of toasted bread. It pairs beautifully with ouzo or tsipouro.
