The Sanative Springs of Thermes - also known as the Healing Baths of Thermes - are located in Xanthi regional unit, just 42 kilometers away from the city of Xanthi, near the settlements Kato Thermes and Loutra of Thermes. The geothermal field of the region creates hot springs with beneficial properties. The water temperature of the oxycarbonic springs of Thermes ranges from 40° C - 53° C. Very close to the so-called animals' spring, towards Medousa, the temperature of the water mounts to 51 degrees, and only those who dare enter it. These healing baths are especially recommended to those with articulation and skin problems or chronic gastritis.

Over the years, efforts have been made to create adequate infrastructures for visitors.
