Almond willow

The almond willow (lat. Salix triandra) is a deciduous small-sized tree or shrub that is widespread almost throughout Europe and in Asia. In Greece, it is a relatively rare species that occurs mainly on the northern mainland along riverbeds or on the shores of lakes. It generally grows on moist clay soils.
