Buckthorn of Rodopi (lat. Rhamnus rhodopeus) is a rare plant that florishes on the mountain of Rodopi, at the Aesthetic Forest of Strait of the Nestos river. It is a shrub, and, along with other wildflowers such as the haberlea, the wild lilac, and Paeonia peregrina, it belongs in the group of rare plants that visitors can see even today in the aesthetic forest of the Nestos.
