Red squirrel

The red squirrel (Latin Sciurus vulgaris) is a small-sized mammal, a type of rodent with a widespread distribution all over Europe. It has a characteristic tufted tail and relatively large legs on which it can comfortably sit while holding fruits or nuts with its small forelimbs. This is the most typical image of a squirrel sitting. With its strong claws, it can dig in the ground and climb trees.

It is considered to be a smart animal, and one of the most lovable wild urban creatures.
