Least weasel

The least weasel (lat. Mustela nivalis) is a rather small - yet carnivorous - mammal with a long body. It is one of the animals that can be easily domesticated - a fact that was known in antiquity. In ancient Athens, it was domesticated, however, it was soon replaced by the cat.

The weasel is also mentioned in myths and traditions of various countries.
