The black-necked grebe (Latin Podiceps nigricollis) is a waterfowl that occurs in Greece. It is a migratory species with a wide distribution all over Europe, Asia, South Africa, and North America. It often travels in huge flocks, which are quite impressive. During its journey, the grebe changes almost all of its plumage; after migration, it eats a lot and gains weight; however, shortly before the start of its journey, it significantly reduces its food and loses weight so that it can fly!
