Village in Evros, near the river Erythropotamos. It is one of the Pomakochoria and its inhabitants are Kizilbasides, that is, followers of the Alevi cult of the Bektashis. The name of the village means "stone hill".

In the village, there is a double arched bridge and a watermill where wool processing takes place.
