Silver poplar 

Silver poplar, also known as silverleaf poplar or white poplar (lat. Pipulus alba) is a deciduous tree with white bark, which reaches a height of fifty meters. It is a tree that is widespread in Europe as far as North Africa, Central Asia, and southwestern Siberia. In Greece, it is widespread in the mainland and in some of the larger islands. It grows in wet locations, near rivers, lakes, and mountains, at low altitudes up to 800 meters.
