Three-toed woodpecker 

The Eurasian three-toed woodpecker (lat. Picoides tridactylus) is a mid-sized species of woodpecker that is widespread in Europe and Asia. In Greece, it is rather sparse. It mainly lives in the Rhodope mountains, in woodlands with conifers, nesting in small cavities or hollow trees.
