Village

Pandrosos

Village at the foot of eastern Rodopi, at the entrance of the Nymfea ravine. On the west side passes the torrent Karydorrema and the Forest of Nymfaea is found. That’s why the village is a popular destination.

The museum of Natural History for children is also interesting. Close to the village there are the ruins of the 14th century castle of Nymfea. The first inhabitants were Bulgarians. After the Greco-Turkish War (1919–1922), refugees from Eastern Romilia settled here.
